Really nice complement to the website. The recent update makes it easier to use and more helpful.
Easy app to know what s around and meet some people in your vicinity
The Gaydar App is packed full of features you wont find on other gay dating apps, I got tired of seeing the same faces on other apps but with this one you can search different locations and sort them by distance, age and also easily search profiles names too, really handy if youre sharing with a mate. Chat is really cool and you can also attach private photos to messages, which you cant do on other apps who have unlock instead when half the time the photos do not display. Totally recommend this app.
I havent had any problems yet but wish there was more guys in my area.
Its not about that the Grindr is better than this app, but at least Gaydar is something different.
Apps are only as good as there subscribers, and this list is fair. There is one glaring pain in the neck with this one though. If youre at the end of a thoughtful, long response to someone, but havent hit send yet, and someone sends you a message, the screen will shift to that person or the general chat window, and will have instantly erased the message you were about to send.

Some bad moments

I have half a dozen dating applications on my cell phone and this one is the least useful and functional. How disappointing from a top brand such as Gaydar. You can take example from applications such as Atraf to see how a dating website turns to a very powerful dating application.
When will you finally fix the pellets display bug in receiving messages? Is that so hard to do when all the other sites have addressed this problem for years? So disapointing!
It doesnt work well. I cant delete messages, cant block users and even though I have read all the messages, theres notification of new message which drives me crazy. This is really awful.
slow, poor filters, poor assignment of geographical regions, e.g. China is one region, message archive not always consistent with web site, too expensive for that quality!
Dont waste your time !! Youre limited to viewing 3 profiles, then youre asked to pay for the upgrade. Not worth it.
I like the Gaydar site, which is why I downloaded the app. The ui is not intuitive. I had a message with no apparent way to mark it as read, no way to delete it and the app kept the push notification active after reading the message. Not worth cluttering my phone with this.
